The Dream of an Exhibition

Monday, May 11, 2026

From the beginning I imagined GlassStories.art as more than a collection, and more than a community that lives online. I saw it as something that happens in time and in space, and in some measure beyond both.

Come with me for a moment. A city at night, at the hour when the offices have emptied and the streets have not yet filled with evening. On enormous screens the images appear: fragments of microstories. The scenes change slowly, and with them the light and the colors. A narrator’s voice tells the story into the cool air.

People pause in the rush between work and home. For a few seconds they find themselves inside an artificial sun that shines like a natural star, inside the work of an archaeologist of machine minds, inside city-ships and along cosmic tracks.

It would be an exhibition without gallery walls, art that for a short while takes over the space of a city.

I offer this as a direction, and the road toward it already exists. It leads through the Rotunda, the digital hall on the Collection page of the website, where you step inside and choose a suite. A local exhibition is planned during the course of the project. Collectors who walk that road now will be able to say, one day, that they knew these stories before the city did.

Someone passing by will stop, look up and think: this story is beautiful, fascinating, incredible, and it touches me deeply. For a few seconds, that passer-by is the reader I write for.
