The complete microstory

He wandered up the mountain. His snow-white art-science dog faithfully accompanied him. Sweat trickled down his forehead, and his glasses slowly slipped off his nose, which he corrected again and again. Fatigue was already giving him a hard time, but he did not stop. He had something to think about, and walking up excellently stimulated him to do so. The building, until now merely glimmering on the horizon, grew larger with every step he took. This monumental building, classical in its form, was like an ancient monastery, although life there was not marked by the obligation of celibacy. The Santa Fe Institute had been summoning independent researchers, individualists, and rebels by choice for more than twenty centuries. It was here, as he used to say, that “Indiana Jones meets Einstein.” And he had been at the head of the Institute for nearly twenty centuries. They called him the father of immortality, albeit somewhat exaggeratedly. After all, he only discovered the recipe for longevity. Back in the early 21st century, Weird Magazine called him “one of the fifty people who will change the world.” He changed it unquestionably. However, the question that has been coming back to him like a boomerang for almost twenty centuries is: Was it really a change for the better? Seeing in which direction the evolution of biological and cultural systems has proceeded, and being aware of the impact he himself has had on it, he often doubts it. However, what is left for him to do? He must go up and reach the goal implanted in him by the swarm of First Level Artificial Intelligence managing the probabilistic line of development of the nature and culture of the province of Santa Fe.

    Microstory on Hologlass

    4K digital artwork (.png, 3840 × 2160)

A premium holographic digital card combining illustration, microstory, and cosmic design into a single luminous composition. The artwork appears suspended within layers of digital glass, creating the impression of a futuristic collectible artifact.

Designed for display on large screens and high-resolution devices, where every visual detail, symbol, and fragment of the narrative can be explored at its full depth.

  • 02

    Microstory on Animated Hologlass

    Full HD video file (.mp4, 1920 × 1080)

A living version of the holographic card. Light, depth, and subtle motion transform the static artwork into a mesmerizing digital object that feels closer to a hologram than a conventional image.

Created as a short visual experience, ideal for collectors who enjoy seeing the story world briefly come alive through movement and atmosphere.

  • 03

    Cinematic Hologlass Experience

    Full HD video file (.mp4, 1920 × 1080)

The complete microstory presented as an immersive audiovisual journey in the holographic card. Within the holographic frame, the static illustration is replaced by a fully animated video sequence inspired by the narrative itself.

    The experience combines:

    • animated storytelling visuals,
    • the complete story text,
    • professional English narration,
    • atmospheric soundtrack.

Rather than a looped scene, this is a complete narrative experience that unfolds from beginning to end, allowing the collector to enter the world of the story as if watching a short science-fiction film.

  • 04

    Fullscreen Multimedia Experience

    Full HD video file (.mp4, 1920 × 1080)

A standalone cinematic version of the story, presented without the holographic card frame. The complete narrative unfolds as a full-screen film, combining animated visuals with English narration and an atmospheric musical score.

Designed for viewing on a large screen exactly as a short science-fiction film — independent of the digital collector’s card, and ideal for immersive, uninterrupted viewing. Every frame is composed to fill the space it’s given, turning a living room, a screening evening, or a private studio wall into a window onto another world. This is the story at its most cinematic — the version to watch when you want to disappear into it completely, rather than simply look at it.

    Audio Narrative Version

    MP3 audio file

A standalone audio rendition of the microstory, freed from any visual element so the story can unfold through voice and sound alone. Professional English narration is layered with an atmospheric musical score, letting the imagination fill in what the eye would otherwise see.

Designed for moments when a screen isn’t part of the experience — during a lonely travel, a quiet evening walk, or a flight above the clouds. Equally at home as a companion during creative work or focused study, or as a closing ritual before sleep, when the mind is ready to drift into another world.

A story once written on paper now travels with you — carried by nothing more than sound.

    Sung Version of Microstory: Bard

    MP3 audio file

A sung interpretation of the microstory, performed in GlassStories.art's signature voice: a lone bard set against a cosmic ambient hum. Fingerpicked acoustic guitar, sparse piano, and slow bowed strings carry a contemplative voice through verses drawn directly from the story's own words — nothing invented, only distilled to its essence.

The microstory already works by compression — a universe held in a handful of paragraphs. The song compresses it once more: a single carrying line becomes the refrain, repeated rather than rewritten, until a few bars carry what already took only a few dozen words.

Composed as a living extension of the microstory rather than a soundtrack beneath it — the kind of hymn a wandering scholar might hum between discoveries, half in wonder, half unsure whether to kneel or to keep walking.

  • 07

    Sung Film of Microstory: Bard

    Full HD video file (.mp4, 1920 × 1080)

The bard's song, seen as well as heard. The sung interpretation of the microstory becomes a short film, with animated visuals from the world of the story moving to the same refrain from the first frame to the last.

Where the audio version is made for a quiet walk or a long journey, the film is made for a screen in a darkened room: the same lone voice and the same sparse acoustic score, now with the story unfolding before your eyes.

A companion to the sung audio, included with every suite.

    Physical Glass Card

    Bonus, A4 size

A microstory printed on a real glass card, inspired by the centuries-old tradition of creating artworks on glass. The text and illustration form a single luminous composition in which light becomes part of the narrative.

Each card turns the story into a collectible artifact — allowing you to experience classical craftsmanship and futuristic storytelling in a single object.

The glass card serves as a symbolic bridge between two eras of artistic expression — the centuries-old tradition of creating art on glass and the emerging world of digital art and holographic storytelling. Together, they create a dialogue between the permanence of craftsmanship and the limitless possibilities of technology. From glass to hologram, from physical artifact to digital universe, GlassStories.art allows stories to evolve through new forms while preserving their timeless essence.

    Sung Version of Microstory: Neoromanticism

    Only for Founding Circle Members

    MP3 audio file

An orchestral reimagining of the same microstory, scaled to the size of the story it tells. Choir, strings, and a solitary French horn rise beneath a narrative vocal line, held in restraint until the piece's final turn from minor into major — the sound of discovery finally arriving.

Where the Bard version keeps the story intimate, this version opens it outward: the same carrying line, the same core image, now carried by a full ensemble — as though the microstory had always belonged on a larger stage.

Reserved for the Founding Circle as a bonus beyond the core collection: a second life for a story already owned, heard the way its largest ideas were always meant to sound.

    Sung Film of Microstory: Neoromanticism

    Only for Founding Circle Members

    Full HD video file (.mp4, 1920 × 1080)

The orchestral reimagining of the microstory, given its own film. Choir, strings and a solitary French horn move together with the visuals, held in restraint until the piece's final turn from minor into major, the moment of discovery finally arriving.

Where the Bard film keeps the story intimate, this one opens it outward, as though the microstory had always belonged on a larger stage.

Reserved for the Founding Circle as a bonus beyond the core collection: the story at its largest scale, heard and seen.
